This is the story of a small, home-based shed building business in an Amish & Mennonite community. It is a multi-generational business with the Sam, the father ready to pass on the leadership to his two sons, Caleb and Dean. Sam mentors his two sons in leadership and communication skills as they work through some challenging relationships. It can be difficult to pass on leadership and give the next generation enough room to make their own decisions.
The underlying goal of this story is to give insight into relationships. There are four primary characters representing the four temperaments in the DISC model of human behavior. All the character names starting with D, I, S or C, have a personality that corresponds with that DISC letter. Join us as we work through the many relational and operational challenges of a family shed building company.
